Rotana Hotel & Hospitality Academy
One of the most difficult challenges the hospitality industry faces in Iran since the international block and restrictions are how to maintain the standards that kept evolving in the last 3 decades around the world.
Since the country is currently experiencing international exposure, the hospitality industry is starting to receive visitors from around the world again, bringing to the table the necessity of upgrading their standards.
It is then when the conception of the first truly five star hotels take place, but not only in terms of facility and offer, but mainly in terms of service, which requires the introduction of a hospitality academy directed and operated to the highest standards of the hospitality academy of Laussane in order to provide comprehensive training opportunities for the coming generations.
From the contextual point of view was interesting to see the building design emerge from the traditional courtyard distribution of the Iranian caravanserai Architecture, including elements of their traditional masonry and copper making. The idea was to make the simple stay in the facilities a historical journey to their architecture heritage and traditions.
